Electrical Contractor Incorporated (ECI) is looking for a qualified Director of Sales.
The Director of Sales should be prepared to work in a team environment and will be engaged in various aspects of general business, sales and marketing. Some job training will be provided however, candidate should have some prior experience as described below.
Responsibilities
- Generate new and foster current revenue opportunities.
- Develop and lead Sales and Marketing team.
- Review active bids, RFP’s, RFQ’s and prepare bidders documents.
- Review active bids drawings and specifications.
- Facilitate and monitor ECI’s bid process through bid life cycle.
- Conduct site visits and attend any required pre bid / bid meetings.
- Deliver and or submit bids / quotes.
- Conduct customer presentations and tradeshows.
- Update and prepare sales / marketing reporting metrics for meetings.
- Coordinate with cross functional teams at ECI.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Preferred:
- Excellent sales and customer service skills with a proven ability to explain technical products to non-technical audiences.
- 5+ years of Sales and or Marketing experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Driven and hard-working.
- Ability to take direction and multi-task.
- Ability to apply engineering, technology, or other related principles to product sales.
- Prior industry experience (electrical and or low voltage) +
- Relevant education and or training +
- Required:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Transportation (site visits, bid deliveries, commute to ECI office).
- Overnight travel (~10 days a year).
- Fluent in speaking and reading English.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
- Transport oneself to jobsites and tour facilities which may be under construction.
